Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nClose to our lunchtime we decided to stop near here, as the actual higest elevation up here is maybe 30 minures to the SW, plus we are tired and hungry.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nIt is mostly rocks up here, so a tuft of grass is nice to see.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nFran has arrived, and wants to eat!Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nHeather looks fresher up here. Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nRough surfaces but no worries, as we are traveling on the return route.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nCan't help but enjoy the scenery!Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nWe come here almost every year, and it is always enjoyable.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nAnother view of the Chain Lakes Loop trail below, including the stretch beyond the near saddle which goes toward Mt Baker who's peak is hidden in the clouds. Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nMushrooms we passed earlier....Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nA view of the cars at the trailhead, still a lot of trail to descent before we are done.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nThe Bagley Lakes overlook, before starting down the steep part of the trail.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nDon't want to lose your balance along here! Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nThe way is clear, down a few more steep stretches.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nLooking back at Table Mtn, it is not obvious but the west end is much higher than this closer east end.Our hike to Table Mtn at Mt Baker 10/06/14\nI think that Fran is happy to be so close to the car!
